Hi, I thought it would be nice to start by sharing my display tank with you. I am very passionate about this hobby and not just a shop. I got my first fish tank when I was 7 and my first saltwater tank when I was 12. A lot has changed in 20 years but my love for the hobby has not.

This tank was only set up in January so it still needs a lot more time but I'm pleased with the progress after 4 months.

This is how I bought the tank. It is 4 foot x 3 foot



It lives under my stairs so I built a cabinet around it.





This is what powers it.

razor nano for cheato growth in sump (Overkill I know but it will double up as a frag holding area. I hate having frag racks in the display).

My water parameters are;

DKH 9
Calcium 450
Magnesium 1400
Nitrate 5

My corals grow better on ATI than on leds.

Hi, I have 3 yellow tangs and a regal tang and none of them hurt my Zoas. I prefer ATI to LEDs but I have both as I like the shimmer effect you get from LEDs

John how high you hang lights on corals? Do you have actinic light?
